Actually, the "we" thing is a near universal in American Sports.
At least, I know that everyone in Buffalo talks that way about the Bills -
and the Buffalo Bills are about as far from the Cowboys and Yankees and
Lakers in the grand scheme of things as you can get.
And if you had seen the people quite literally dancing in the Streets, the
day Buffalo beat Oakland to go to our (yes *our*) first Super Bowl you'd
believe it.
