Me: I should know better than to do this by memory. Yeah, that's correct, of course. I believe that the distinction is because sac flies are not volitional, while sac bunts are. That is, when you get a sac fly you were trying to get a hit, and therefore failed in your task, while with a sac bunt you usually weren't, and therefore had no chance to get on and shouldn't have your OBP decreased. At least, I _think_ that's the reason - it might be just an historical accident, as many things in baseball are. Gautam
