Wonder if we could make them a US Protectorate. That would upset a few people. Seriously tho, wasn't this the original problem with Iraq 9 years ago? If Hussain was removed, the alternatives would have been even less desirable. Afghanistan has a legitimate government. It was forced out by the Taliban fundamentalists. Would they be able to maintain control if reinstated? Jon
