The Buffalo Bills won their *Conference* four consecutive years, and still
do not have an NFL* Championship.

*Sigh.*

* The Buffalo Bills won AFL Championships in 1964 and 1965. In 1966, they
lost the AFL Championship Games to the Kanas City Chiefs, who proceeded to
lose the first AFL-NFL Championship game to Vince Lombardi's Packers. As
with so many things in Buffalo History.... what might have been.......

Your argument, so far as I can tell, boils down to the idea that Kenny
Lofton is an inferior player because Jose Mesa couldn't pitch. "

Speaking of bad memories!!!!! Argh! Let the record show, however, that
Jose Mesa had a *very* good year that year. Jose Mesa certainly could
pitch. He just didn't pitch well enough at that partciular moment in
time. *Sigh.*
