I disagree on one point. Instead of Judeo/christian values, I would claim
self-evident values. But it likely depends on the specific instance which
would apply.
"Self evident" in principle sounds fine to me, but then, what's self-evident to one might not be to another. Also, our value systems have changed in the last 200 years (slavery is a glaring example.)
