A few days ago the BBC showed a documentary about the use of non-leathel weapons by the police in several cities (LA, Baltimore, London). Those weapons appear to be quite effective; bean bags for instant can knock a person off his feet easily. > Or be trained to shoot guns out of criminal's hands? AFAIK, shooting guns out of a person's hands only happens in the movies. It is quite difficult to do that when you are more than a few steps away from the person holding the gun.
