Yeah, we saw what Israel means by "freedom of press" a few days ago. Israeli troops surrounded Arafat's offices, destroyed all surrounding buildings, and destroyed a Palestinian radio station. The international press was kept at a distance because "this is now Israeli territory". All this makes it look like Israel's "freedom of press" is limited to only those who do not criticise Israel and its actions (IOW, if you do not spout Israeli propaganda you do not have freedom of press). Refusing the international press access to that area suggests that Israel is doing things there that it does not want the world to know about, because it would put Israel in a bad light. And then people still wonder why organisations like Hamas have so much support among the Palestinians...
