One of you pointed it out in an earlier message that this is probably the most misquoted and misinterpreted saying ever. It just struck me how ironically appropriate it in this case is. If you compare indeed the asymmetry between the original meaning and the more commonly used interpretation to the asymmetry of the situation it's applied to. For an eye at most an eye and for a tooth at most a tooth... Sonja :o)
