Netherlands, but to Europe. I do not know what exactly the other European
countries did, but I do know that the Dutch did deploy mobile
ground-to-air-missile launchers to take out Scuds. The numbers and exact
locations were (for obvious reasons) kept secret at the time; I do not know
if that information has already been made public.>>
*I* also thought that you referred to Dutch, but in both cases, how can I
make you understand? Israel is tiny country. Almost every male older than 18
years old has some connection to army - he can be in active army, he can be
reservist, he can be volunteer, he definitely has friends who are one of the
above. For better or for worse there are not army secrets here. European
countries did nothing for Israel during Gulf war.

but I am pretty sure the rest of Europe does not have such an agreement with
Israel. Given Israel's behavior in the Middle East, I do not believe we
should have defended her.>>
I don't remember me, Ilana, asking you, Jeroen, or Israel asking European
countries for help. I *do* believe Israel could react.

<<It only confirms what we already knew: that part of the Arab population
wants to see Israel destroyed. It does not prove that all Arabs want to see
that goal achieved.>>
I just want to be sure if I understood you right - most Arabs hate Israel,
some of them want to do something about it. Yes?
