Well, since i first expressed myself in a thread about translations of
the Talmud, i might as well say that i'm an
[Neo/Modern/Hirschian/Centrist-]Orthodox Jew, from New York City. I'm a
little bit more than half done with college, and i like every one of
David Brin's books that i've read so far - which is most of the Uplift
books, Earth, the Postman, Glory Season, and the two short-story/essay
collections. I generally only capitalize the singular first-person
subject pronoun "i" when i have to (sort of like a traeki :-P ), and i
don't dot my lower case "i"s or "j"s in handwriting. The other major
internet listserv i'm on is Conlang, about constructed languages, and a
few other listservs such as Conculture and Ideolengua which are
associated with it. Generally, people who i know mostly, muchly or
exclusively from email call me "Steg" because that's how my email program
is set to attribute my messages - it's a nickname (short for 'Stephen')
that my cousin made up in elementary school.
Is that enough random introduction facts? :-)
