Your page is really good; i don't think that i would have the patience to
flip through every uplift book looking for examples of galactic
languages! :-)
Although, i always thought that the Galactic 6 word _idatess_ meant
"yes". Especially in the Startide Rising example:

(Thennanin)Idatess. V'Thennan'kleeph...
I always thought that _V'Thennan' kleph ph?_ means "are you a thennanin?"
and the response _Idatess. V'Thennan'kleeph_ means "yes, i am a
thennanin."
