I apologize if I offended you.  Looks like my ignorance is showing!  I 
admit that I based my perception more on current happenings and not on 
history.  I'm not entirely sure I believe that the attack on the Indian 
parlaiment in December was orchestrated with the knowledge of the 
Pakistani government.  And I can't help but be skeptical of anything 
that any government says.

I admit to concern because both India and Pakistan have shown themselves 
capable of detonating nuclear devices, and the idea of a conflict 
involving nuclear powers anywhere in the world frightens me.

As one foreign minister said to another in an old issue of _Preacher_: 
"This may be a naive and silly thing to say, but why can't people just 
be nice to each other for a change?"
