Ilana I was not sure if all this needs *any* reaction. But then I decided, that, just may be, you *really* miss some data. As - Fact One: Israel (and you saw it's size on the map) has problem with pirate radio stations (they interfere with airports and army transmissions). Israeli pirate station is closed the minute it is located. "Voice of Palestine" moved on several Israeli stations. Nothing was done. And Fact Two: When you last get to hear what Israeli media telling about Palestinians (I mean mainstream - like Haaretz, Ediot, Maariv, radio, TV)? As far as I know all have English translations and all show Palestinians in much nicer light, than Palestinians do it themselves. But don't take *my* word - search the net. And Fact Three: How long do you think "Voice of Palestine" would be down? (clue - as long as average pirate radio-station - week at most - so talking about "silencing Palestinian media" is exaggeration). Ilana from Israel
