DNET is the Dutch Defense Department's own ISP. It provides a secure
connection between our own network and the Internet (e-mail and web access
only), and (to raise revenue) also offers paid dial-up Internet access to
employees of the Defense Department. In that respect it functions like any
other ISP, the only difference being that it is not owned by a commercial
organisation but by the Defense Department.
