Which is what this is.

I've so far only tried 3 or 4: first, the one on the top, then some from
further down in the pack, and so far not one has worked.

Since it has been longer than their return period, I guess I'll just go
through and see if any work, and if so, sort them into "good" and "bad"
piles and perhaps use the latter for coasters, Christmas decorations, or
the next time I go skeet shooting.

I dunno if there is one at school: if I find one, I guess I could try some
of the rejects in it.

FWIW, both these discs and the ones that worked are rated at 12X. I think
this burner is 4X. So it seemed to me it ought to have worked.

NOW he tells me!

Not quite as cheap, but I guess you do get what you pay for . . .

Thanks for the help!

Land that I love!
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America!
My home, sweet home.
