What is it with you Americans that you can not even answer a simple question? For example, my question about being happy that you got away with a warning from the police, instead of a speeding ticket, was met with some fierce responses about "false analogies", but nobody bothered to actually answer the question. What is it with you Americans that you react so extremely when someone says something you disagree with? Example #1: criticism of Israel. Rest-of-the-world response: maybe you are right, maybe you are wrong, let's discuss this. US response: you are an anti-Semite and a Nazi! Example #2: criticism of the US. Rest-of-the-world response: maybe you are right, maybe you are wrong, let's discuss this. US response: you are anti-American! I am not saying that all US members respond that way, but I do notice that such flaming responses mostly come from US members.
