Below I have appended some of the headers and the exact body of one of
the messages I have have received it. Note the Content-Type: header is
set to text/html. Also, there are <br /> after most lines and it ends
with an <hr>.

Doesn't seem that I can.  Now that you've refreshed my memory, I have investigated 
this some time in
 the past, and it looks like I can't change it.
