No, back in Singapore (although we certainly could do with one in the
physics department here at Cornell).

Last I checked, the SDU has about 15,000 participants (Singapore has a
population of 3 million). A decade back it was only a few thousand or so.
There was a lot of stigma attached to being a member; only recently did
the SDU try to revamp its image with a big advertising campaign. I heard
it's quite popular now, but it could also be that sexual issues are now
less of a taboo topic than it was 10-15 years ago (there was a public
lecture on healthy sex recently, this would have been unthinkable in the
1980s).

Oh, and the SDU has a fairly glitzy website at http://www.sdu.gov.sg, in
case anyone's interested. :-)
