I used to have a house in the Hamptoms. Every morning I would take a walk on the beach. It was lovely except after a while I would be attacked by flocks of terns. I told an old hamptom resident about my problem and he told me how to handle it. "At the beginning of your walk go to quarry out by Edwards Pond. Take a burlap sack with you. Pick up about 100 small rocks no more than 3 inches across, the rounder the better. When you go on your walk
