Personally, I do not see any use for a "tangential exploration" category.
The whole reason for changing the subject header is that the topic has
changed. What, in your opinion, makes such a "tangential exploration"
category useful?

I would not call it *boring*, just more work. Including historical data also
has the nice effect of painting a far more accurate picture.

Just you wait and see. Some day Nick's analysis software will meet the CD
version of The Great Brin-L Archive...
