Off the coast of the US & Canada, 285 ships were sunk from
January-August 1942, while 7 U-boats were sunk in that same period.

I'll probably be packing that book soon.  Sam has taken to pulling books
off shelves, so the more that are packed away, the less energy we have
to spend making sure he doesn't destroy them.  The new house will have a
dedicated library, and there will be a baby gate between all the places
he's supposed to be and that room, so it won't be so much of an issue
there.
