I'd be more than happy to do the same. I was denied the opportunity to
buy John lunch, as he insisted it be *his* treat; seeing as I was a
guest to his area, that was reasonable and appropriate. If he shows up
in Austin, though, he'd darn well better let a Texan pick up the tab.

Serve Marvin good beer at your house, and maybe you'll get him to be
goofy and less of a philosopher. :) Works for us. (Of course, as
often as not, he brings the beer -- and he brings great beer.) I
remember one of the Superbowl parties here that I got drunk at, it was
on his beer.
