In a criticism of the _Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea_ series, someone pointed out that since the electric fuse had already been invented prior to the 1960s (when the series was on the air), they wondered why the electrical system of the _Seaview_ in 1984 (when the series was supposedly set) apparently didn't have any fuses to prevent the control panels from exploding at the slightest provocation . . . -- Ronn! :) God bless America, Land that I love!
