Well, I've been enjoying them quite a bit. For a TV writer, JMS has a
surprisingly adept feel for comics. He really knows how to pace the stories,
and when you re-read them together they form a neat meta-story, with all the
continuing character arcs and subplots. He's an excellent writer.

Incidentally, you can read the JMS issues that came before the 9/11 one at
Marvel's website http://dotcomics.marvel.com/ . They've got something like a
hundred comincs up on it now, all in this flash format. Pretty neat stuff.

I love "Midnight Nation!" (That comic is amazing.) And I'd like to love
"Rising Stars," but all those crappy artists turned me off of the title back
when it started. Is the story still going strong?

"Alias," eh? Don't think I'm familiar with that one.

My personal favorites right now are the Alan Moore ABC titles, especially
"Promethea." And there's a really nice Image comic that's retelling the
Trojan War, called "Age of Bronze," that I enjoy a lot.
