Erg.. I haven't been to impressed with Planescape or the "RPGs" in its mold - Baldur's Gate, Arcanum, etc. I played Planescape for about 2 hours before I just gave up - why expose all these numbers and stats and things and expect the player to manage it all when they're sitting in front of a thousand dollar calculator that should be able to figure these things out for them? ^_^ Of course.. there are games that I think have done an exemplary job in the "RPG" genre.. > Depending on your definition of 'rpg' there are a few games > that superior hands down. I don't think that a computer game will ever.. ok, will anytime SOON.. approximate the table-top RPG experience. > 2. Chrono Trigger oh, that one was great! > To name a 'few'. Can I add my list? 1. Bard's Tale (if only for nostalgia!) 2. Wasteland 3. Ultima 4 & 5 4. Fallout 1 & 2 -j-
