I can find out where fact.org is being hosted, that's about $10/mo,
IIRC; there haven't been any real problems with the website there that
I've heard of, and I'd hear about any eventually. (It's also where
zurg.net is hosted now, and I've had a few mail-related problems, but
that's a separate issue from the web pages.)
I might be willing to chip in about $10/year. That would cover about
1/12 of the cost, except there may be various taxes that would bring the
annual price above $120. (I think that fact.org doesn't have to pay any
sales tax or anything because they're a non-profit organization. I
don't know exactly what we're being charged because I haven't looked at
the credit card statements that would have the charge yet; if anyone
*really* wants to know, I could try to dig one of those up before the
end of the week.)
But I'm not going to pay one single dime for a brin-l.com site that has
any pages set aside to document misbehavior by members.
