The archive is approx. 300 MB uncompressed, 70 MB compressed. Is the directory structure of the archive a problem? I have a folder for every year, each of those contain 12 folders (one for each month) which in turn contain mailboxes for every seperate day of the month. Also note that a .mbx file is really nothing but a (sometimes very large) text file containing all the messages in a particular mailbox. > Installing MySQL can be a bit difficult, especially with regard to > setting permissions. And that depends on the platform, too. Tweaking > it requires great peace of mind... ;-) That should not be a problem. My customers are people who use Windows 95/98/NT and manage to produce any hardware and software problem you can think of (and more). Great peace of mind is a job requirement... :-) Jeroen's Law On Computer Users: one user can cause more problems with his computer than ten computer experts can solve.
