We've been in a friend's house for the last six months, but he decided to
sell it. He's become somewhat ill and it's not clear if he'll fully
recover, so he's aiming to finally truly retire. So... we're moving, not
far away, to a place that also will be reasonably big enough for us. The
new house is in Santa Clara. It hasn't been long since we moved into here,
so it won't be a very difficult move. Since this place is a bit small, we
still have quite a bit in boxes... and I had spent a lot of time organizing
and getting rid of stuff that we don't need. Although I still have far too
many cables and such -- various flavors of SCSI, serial, USB, RF, etc., etc.
We have a couple of weeks overlap, so I'm hoping that the server disruption
will be little more than driving time between the houses, which is 15
minutes.
