Right, I'm totally confused now! My issue was with the "soft as shit" post; I did misunderstand the follow up posts though. For the record, I don't think europeans "put up with terrorism" though. They've just realised that often it stems from an intractable issue, where any action to resolve it only serves to aggravate others, and thus getting the parties to talk is far better than just piling in and laying down the smack. Fr'ex, the Jenin incursion stopped the suicide bombers for...all of a month?
