I have offered to indefinitely shelve the idea of a Wall of Shame, provided
that certain key players (John Giorgis, Gautam Mukunda and Tom Beck) would
support the proposal of a blanket apology and general amnesty.

By now, Gautam and Tom have done so. I will settle for two out of three;
the idea of a Wall of Shame has now officially been shelved indefinitely.

You may now all sigh your sighs of relief. :-)

I *could* of course wait till John speaks out in favour of the proposal,
but (1) rumour has it that he is not reading my posts, and (2) everyone
here should have a fairly accurate idea of what I believe the chances are
of JDG apologising for anything.

I now return you to your regular discussions.

Jeroen
