Listowners, I call your attention to the previous day's posts by Mark... Vulgar language, talk of killing children (among others), discussion of sexual material, etc. This behavior is unacceptable on the list. These even violate the ettiquette rules set forth for the Brin-L not to mention common decency. I tried emailing him to discuss his problems, hoping things might improve, but he is just getting worse.
Even under the United States Constitution, obsene speach is not protected. I dare say that by normal community standards his recent postings qualify as obscene. Compounding this is the fact that this list is not limited to adults only, (I don't know if there are any underage list members, but that doesn't mean that an underage person could not join the list and participate in discussions) and such talk should definately not take place in a forum that may include underage individuals.
