I'm afraid I still haven't seen any evidence to contradict Reggie's 
reasoned argument, other than you telling us we're all wrong...

But my point (and Reggie's initially) is that is not about any 
individual's convenience, it's about the civilisation/community as a 
whole. If it was about my personal convenience, I'd just shut up and go 
away, but because we're talking about a community I care about, I spoke 
up first, and now I'll just shut up and go away...
