Alas... have you forgotten your own fatalistic fantasies related to nuclear war when you were a kid? We all (well, I did)thought we would never make it into the 1990's. 'The Day After', 'Red Dawn', 'War Games', Carl Sagan's Nuclear Winter... Crazy Ivan was going to blow us to hell, or a mistake on our part would cause it. I suspect that this is a part of growing up that has been with us throughout history, only the world destruction du jour has changed. Nerd From Hell
