Marvin,
We have warned him, on and off list. His replies imply he has never taken
our warnings seriously.
I know this will make you mad Marvin, but I am going to ask that the List
owners make a ruling in the next 24 hours. A temporary ban or no ban, and we
call it good. Someone has to assume a leadership role here.
A temporary ban will not 'hurt' anyone measurably. There is so much focus on
whether or not this group is a bunch of nazi's, or a group of libertarians
in regards to Mark's rights to this list. Do we have democracy, oligarchy or
a collectivist state for a type of government for the list. I think we are
focusing on the wrong things here, and it needs to stop soon.

I would point out that Mark is not actively engaged or apparently interested
or even involved in these threads discussing Mark's right to be on the list.
Why is there so much sympathy for someone who could really care less if he
was an active member or not of this list. He does not participate. He adds
half-mad rantings to the list. I do not consider him part of our group. You
can engage him, he barely acknowledges we even exist. If you disagree, show
me otherwise.

The collective fear here is that we may be monsters if we ban someone from
our idealistic list - that somehow we are not as 'enlightened' as we would
like to think, if we cannot even tolerate one crank on the list. Someone has
to decide, for as a group we will never get past that fear. There has to be
trust in a leader sometimes in moments like these.
I pledge to support Jeroen and Julia's decision on this matter. I hope
everyone else will as well.

This is a call for action. Let's see if we can truly stretch as a group
here. All in favor, raise you hands.

Chad Cooper
