Do cats grin in delight when they realize they've done something like
that?

I need to totally clear the windowsill shelf behind the couch, the shelf
that's just within reach in the bookcase, and the shelf that's just
within reach in the other bookcase. Some of the stuff can go back on
the windowsill, but the rest is just going to have to be packed, put
somewhere higher, or removed from the livingroom altogether.

Plus which, we need to let guests know not to bring newspapers into the
livingroom, period.

And we have to do a little something more about the corners of the
coffee table. The bumper pad on it isn't quite up to snuff on the
corners.

Oh, and why am I posting so late? Just got back from the ER. Of
course, it wasn't serious by the time we got there, but at the time we
decided to go, we didn't know just where in his mouth he was bleeding.
(It's really, really minor. Just, it being a head wound, it bled a
*lot*.)
