That's a fair point, Rob.  It is rude, and it is unlike the usual culture here.

The only thing I can say is that Mark hasn't shown much interest in dialogue, at least 
not on-list.  As you say, he has to have seen all the posts about him.  If he in any 
way had any desire to take part in the discussions of his carryiing on, you'd think he 
would have by now.
