Most of the restaurants I eat in are either in Austin or Round Rock
(just north of Austin). I think I've eaten in Mexico just once -- I
went to Tiajuana for a few hours with a friend in 1990. The one on
Sunday is on South Lamar, at Treadwell. It's reasonably good. I like
the salsa and the fact that they serve white rice (with just a few
chunks of veggies tossed in) with the entree I like to get.

Yup.

I have the problem of getting a certain song stuck in my head if I think
about the brand name too much, as well.

It involves a fair quantity of toilet paper, and that's about as much as
anyone really wants to know.

The blinds didn't get installed.

Whoever was supposed to fill the order in Houston goofed. Big time.
Only half the actual blinds made it here, and NONE of the mounting
brackets. And we haven't heard back yet that they know when they'll be
able to install them.

Oh, and you know all those jokes about the cable company? Here is a
TRUE STORY:

Dan called to make an appointment for someone to come out to the new
house to install cable. They set an appointment for sometime between
9AM and noon the morning of Thursday, June 13 (today). He called
yesterday to confirm that someone would be coming out the morning of
Thursday, June 13. He called this morning to let them know he'd be
there when the cable guy arrived. Sometime after noon, he called to
complain that the cable guy hadn't arrived yet, and was informed that
his appointment was for tomorrow, not today. So he has to do the whole
thing over again tomorrow. (Sigh....)
