Well, at least they managed to register your new address.

The cable company here (UPC) also provides Internet access by cable
(through their Chello service). Nine months ago when we moved, we went to
their office to inform them about the move. They wrote down everything they
needed to know and assured us everything would be processed. They screwed
up: nine months, several letters, several fax messages, several e-mails,
several visits to their office, and several phone calls later, they still
have not managed to change our address in their files. As far as they are
concerned, we still live in that apartment...

Of course, their inability to process something as simple as a change of
address does not stop them from automatically transferring EUR 49.95 from
my bank account into theirs every month... :-(

It has become kind of a fishy company anyway. They have huge debts, the
value of their shares has plummeted to next-to-nothing, and they seem to be
balancing on the edge of bankrupcy. When you go to their office, the guy at
the desk only makes a note that someone must call you back (you do not get
to speak to anyone at the office), and the last time I was there the guy
asked how I knew they were housed in that building, because their office
address was secret...
