Just another close call after the fact story. Not really earth-shattering... "the size of a football field" (what is the depth of a football field and are we talking American or the rest of the world football?). It came within 120,000 km (75,000 miles) of earth and was first spotted some days afterward. They estimate a collision might have been similar to what happened in 1908 over Siberia (Tunguska sp?). I wonder... if it had hit around the Indian-Pakistani border... Sean
