An American football field is 360 feet long (counting the end zones) and 160 feet wide. http://www.nfl.com/fans/rules/field.html Football for the rest of the world (except Canadian football) has a wider field, IIRC. You can't really play professional soccer in the US in a football stadium because it's not wide enough, if I'm remembering what I was told/read about it recently. For Canadian football, the total length of the field is 450 feet (110 yards + 2(20 yard end zone) = 150 yards = 450 feet) and the width is 195 feet (65 yards). http://www.cuug.ab.ca/~leblancj/stampeders/compare.html That's all I have time to find now on this. Can someone post the dimensions of a regulation soccer (football to everyone not in the northern 2 countries of North America) field? Julia
