Martin,

I drive one of those small cars over here in the US. It is a Subaru Justy
with a whopping 1.2L (1198ci) of raw unbridled horsepower! I use it as my
commuter/rally car. It is true that there is not a lot of them over here.
I spend a lot of time on Ebay trying to find parts to keep it going. It
does help that I have a spare car (much to my wife's chagrin).

I love driving it around, and I wish they would have something like
available today so I could buy one. Maybe I'll wait for the hype to
wind-down on the new Cooper S and buy one then.

The family truckster is a Land Rover. I like it driving anywhere, and I
mean everywhere.

I always thought the difference between the US and Europe with regards to
cars is that in Europe a car is considered a luxury, and in the US a
necessity. So by extension the gas is considered a luxury item in Europe.

Just got done with an oil change,
Matthew Bos

(If anyone knows of the whereabouts of a 1991-94 3-door Justy 4x4 GL with
not a lot rust, let me know!!!!)
