Here are some downloadable calculators, in no particular order. If no URL
is given, you may have to do a Google search on the name . . .

Calc98  <<http://www.calculator.org/>>  Fairly basic scientific
calculator. Has a mode for calculating using Roman numbers.

High Precision Complex Calculator

This program does real or complex number calculations with
100-significant-figure precision. Many standard functions are included. DO
loops are supported. Both expressions and results can be saved to a file. A
set of expressions to be evaluated is entered in FORTRAN syntax, in much
the same way as writing a program.

+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+

MIRACL Calc

Generally, MIRACL Calc works just like a normal electronic calculator, but
with any number of digits between 10 and 10,000. The default number of
digits is initially 500, but can be changed.

Excalibur For Windows - v1.06

EXCALIBUR was written to create a full featured RPN calculator for
Windows.  <<http://www.wavemotion.bizland.com>>

"When in the course of computing events it becomes apparent that not all
calculators are created equal, one must turn no further than to GraphCalc.
When the requirements of your computations exceed the capabilities of your
four-function figurer, turn to GraphCalc. When you need to see what
multiple compound exponential sinusoidal waves look like, turn to
GraphCalc. Haven't we all at some point wanted to see what
"sin(x)^2-3*ln(tan(x*pi))" looked like, and the Windows calculator just
wasn't up to the task? GraphCalc can be your first, last, and only line
of offense against the mathematics that threaten to push you over the brink
of insanity. It slices, dices, shreds and purees functions that leave other
calculators wondering what hit them. GraphCalc is an all-in-one solution
to everything from everyday arithmetic to statistical analysis, from betas
to Booleans, from cubes to calculus, from decimals to derivatives.
GraphCalc combines all the features of a professional mathematics package
with the simplicity of an easy to learn windows interface. It provides
user-friendly contextual help to guide you through the easy and fun process
of mastering GraphCalc. GraphCalc is ready to use out of the box. Don't
bother reading the documentation (which ironically is what you are doing
right now). Just start the program and you'll see how easy it is to use."

WiSCy99 (not freeware, but none of the others let you integrate a special
function and graph the results)

"WiSCy99 v4.26 for (Windows'9x/NT/2000) is the complete and-to-use
scientific calculator. The results of calculation can be visualization,
printing as graphic, as text or saving to disk. Unit Converter is
pre-configured to convert over 500 units in 30 categories and editor for
custom units conversion. Periodic table of the elements utility provides
basic and extended
properties of the elements. Features: Arithmetic and logical operators
and functions; Common functions such as exp, ln, sqrt, sqr, bnml etc.;
Common, trigonometric, hyperbolic complex functions; Trigonometric,
Hyperbolic functions; Numerical Integration; Equations can be solved;
Special functions (Gamma, Bessel's, Si, Ci, erf, erfc, Fresnel's);
Statistic functions (Average, Standard deviation, Sum, Random, Gauss
random, statistical variance, etc ); FOR-type loop; if (...) then (...)
else (...) function; Tape of results; Assistant and debug: error position
fixed; Plot f(X), Contour Plot f(X,Y), Color Shading f(X,Y), real 3D-Plot
f(X,Y), Derivative, Fit.; Print results, graphics and print preview; Save
graphics to BMP, WMF, EMF formats; Matrix Operations(A+B=C, A-B=C, A*B=C,
inverse(A)=C, Power(A,n)=C, det |A|=C[1.1], Solve A(X)=C); Decimal,
Hexadecimal and Binary bases; Fixed point, Scientific, Engineering and
Sexagesimal notations; Radian and Degree modes for trigonometric functions;
Precision: 10-12 significant digits.; Range: (3.4E-4392 to 1.1E+4392); 10
pre defined variables, user define variables; User define functions; 30
user defined constants (up to 16000), search and edit file with constants;
Unit Converter; Custom unit convertor; Evaluate expressions from file;
Simple tape calculator; Periodic table of the elements."

(shareware, IIRC around $20US to convert the demo version you can download
to the fully functional version)

And this page should give you a lot of calculators, though not all of them
are equally useful . . .

"Since I was a small boy, two states have been added to our country and two
words have been added to the pledge of Allegiance... UNDER GOD. Wouldn't
it be a pity if someone said that is a prayer and that would be eliminated
from schools too?"
