Gosh - I feel so *old* when I look at the responses. I look more to the
old British bands for that sort of thing - The Who - Won't Be Fooled
Again, Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb, even the Stones and Satisfaction
can express your frustration with the world at large...
Basically I'm looking for more than screaming banshee guitar effects
(though the boys who live at the school here seem to find that just the
ticket)
Some others just for the tone ?

Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall
Noiseworks - Take Me Back
Midnight Oil - King of the Mountain
Stewart Copeland - Equaliser
Ultravox - Vienna
ACDC - Who Made Who
Split Enz - I See Red
Angels/Angel City - Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again (although the
international version might not have the "No Way, Get F#$&ed, F@#$ Off"
responses which really make the song)

I'd recommend finish it off with something more upbeat - say U2 -
Beautiful Day, or even the JXL remix of A Little Less Conversation to
"satisfy"....
