But then why should such a huge sum of money be awarded to a single person 
who has only suffered minimal damage? It is the society as a whole who 
wants to send a message to BigCorp, not a single individual. Therefore, 
that huge sum of money should not go to a single individual but to society 
as a whole. In everyday terms: let the judge impose a huge fine on BigCorp.
