It's been pointed out to me that I posted this to the
Culture list, and then turned around and said I'd posted it to
Brin-L. Sorry. But it really is hard to keep it straight!
Maybe those of us who subscribe to both lists could
pick ONE place to send each post to? You know, flamewars go
to Brin-L, and stories about drunken pub crawls go to the
Culture list... : )
