What do all these people do in a court of law? They can hardly swear on a bible after all... Just curious.. Cheers Russell C. Actually, you no longer swear on a Bible in most American courts. Most people _think_ you do, because TV shows like the dramatic effect, but it's not necessary. One President (Calvin Coolidge, I think) was actually not sworn in on a Bible either - it's just traditional, there's no legal requirement. Gautam
