Scotch, straight. Crawford's is far better than anything else as cheap, and far cheaper than anything else as good. It's not top-of-the-line, but it's fantastic if you have a smallish alcohol budget. By the way, Crawford's goes great with anything chocolate. My second favorite birthday meal is Crawford's and chocolate cake. (My favorite is a burrito from a local place called La Cocina del Puerco, and a pint of Guinness, or Negra Modelo if Guinness is not available).
