Personally I drink only very little alcohol. However if I drink (perhaps once or twice a year - really rare for people in DK) I mostly drink tequila shots accompanied by a little lemon and salt. That rocks.

Crawford's is far better than anything else as cheap, and far cheaper than anything else as good. It's not top-of-the-line, but it's fantastic if you have a smallish alcohol budget. By the way, Crawford's goes great with anything chocolate. My second favorite birthday meal is Crawford's and chocolate cake. (My favorite is a burrito from a local place called La Cocina del Puerco, and a pint of Guinness, or Negra Modelo if Guinness is not available).
