"Nuclear piss" is what I remember, as well. The time someone
experimented with putting Pop Rocks in it, it was rendered unpotable.
(I think your wife was there for that one. And I think someone actually
sampled it, and gave a thumbs-down on the taste.) But it was very
pretty, for some value of "pretty". At least initially, until the
colors homogenized.
The only thing I ever actually *drank* with peach schnapps in it was
orange juice. I think I prefer mimosas to fuzzy navels, though, so I'm
not likely to be wanting peach schnapps for anything now.
The only rum & coke I ever had was made with spiced rum. Never let a
drunk acquaintance mix your drink unless they've actually been a
bartender. (It was wretched.) A friend of mine says that the new
Vanilla Coke goes very nicely with rum.
I guess I'm more into beer, wine and port than anything made with harder
stuff.
And I'm babbling. I'll shut up for a few hours.
