Could someone please help me with this? When did we vote to make Jeroen a
listowner?

The reality is that the ownership of the list from Cornell's viewpoint is
Eileen's and her's alone. She is responsible for those she picks to have
listowner privileges. Its akin to, in the old days, the manager of the
computer system giving superuser privileges to others to spread the
workload. If someone violates company (Cornell's) policy in doing this, it
is her responsibility. She, after all, gave the power.

Now, if the company is reasonable and she immediately yanks the power, then
she can keep on keeping on as manager. If she doesn't, then she is very
responsible for all further violations. Cornell is very much within its
rights to pull the plug on Brin-L without even a one hour notice.
